Betessi LLC ("us", "we", or "our") operates Betessi.com (the "Website" or "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit or use our Service.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

  • Discord account credentials and User ID (when linked via Discord OAuth2)
  • Billing and transaction metadata (note: payment details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our servers)

B. Usage Data: We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

C. Tracking & Cookies Data: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. We may process your Personal Data because:

  • We need to perform a contract with you (e.g., to process your subscription).

  • The processing is in our legitimate interests and it is not overridden by your rights.
  • For payment processing purposes.
  • To comply with the law.

4. Data Retention

Betessi LLC will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws, such as financial or tax regulations), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Unless a specific legal obligation requires longer retention (such as tax compliance which requires transactional records to be kept for 7 years), we will delete or anonymize your Personal Data upon your request or when you close your account.

5. Third-Party Service Providers & Disclosures

We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

The key processors we share data with include:

  • Authentication & Backend: Supabase (data storage, authentication, and hosting).
  • Payment Processing: Stripe (payments, subscription billing, and invoicing).
  • Community Integration: Discord (account linking and Premium role synchronization).
  • Analytics and Advertising: Google Analytics & Google Ads (traffic analysis, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization).

6. Do Not Track (DNT) Disclosure

We support Do Not Track ("DNT"). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

7. Your Data Protection Rights Under GDPR

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Betessi LLC aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.

8. Your Privacy Rights Under CCPA/CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

A. Categories of Personal Information Collected: In the preceding 12 months, we have collected: identifiers (email, name, Discord ID), commercial information (payment history), and internet/network activity.

B. Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising except for standard website analytics and conversion tracking as disclosed in Section 5.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
